Text
Click here to insert a text box. After you click this icon another box will pop up ("Add a text component"). The first text field is where you input text that will appear on your label. The label is designed so you can title the text field you are creating. Next you will be able to change the font, font style, size, color and text box color. (See details below.)
Note: the features below will only be available when working with text
Font: Choose from over 20 different fonts for your labels.
Size: Change your text size from 5pt to 72pt make sure to adjust your text box for larger sizes so that all your text is visible.
Font Color: Change the color of your font to match your design.
Special Character: Click here and look through all the extra symbols that are available for use on your label.
Bold: Make your text standout with by adding a bold feature.
Italics: Add a little style to a simple text by adding italics to your fonts.
Underline: Underline is also available for your use.
Shadow: A shadow can also be added to your text.
Alignments: click on the different types of alignments so that you can change where the text will come up in the text box.
Text Box Colors: This option gives you the availability to change the text box color.
Delete Text: This will get rid of the text box you are working in.
Backgrounds
Choose from our array of backgrounds for your label. Simply browse through the images and then click on the one of your choice. Please note this will fill your entire label and cannot be moved.
Shapes
Here you will be given a choice of five different shapes to add to your design. Click on the desired shape to add it to your label. Next, you can change the color, resize the shape, add a solid or dashed border (see details below). In order for you to retain the shape’s proportion you simply hold down the Shift key while resizing using the shape’s corner handles.
Note: the options below are only available when working with a shape.
Size: This is always defaulted to 0, if you would like to add a border to your shape then just increase the size to your needed specifications.
Border Style: The two options available for this are solid and dashed.
Fill Color: This will change the color inside your shape.
Border Color: If you choose to have a border then you can change the color here.
Delete Shape: This will delete the shape you are currently working in

When you click here you will launch another pop up box. The first tab is "My Images." If you are logged into your account you will be able to see any images you have uploaded in the past. To upload pictures from your computer’s hard drive, click the second tab ("Upload") to get started. There, you can browse through your computer and find the picture you need. Don’t have any pictures? No worries, click over to "Stock Images" and choose from hundreds of images that we provide for your use. IMPORTANT: When you are resizing the image hold down the Shift key to keep the proportion, Creative Label Studio will not be liable for any photo stretched out of proportion. After you enlarge the pictures they will look pixilated, but when you go to the proof page you will see the final image, which is representative of actual print quality.
Additional Functions
Saved Work – If you have created a label in the past and would like to just update some information and then reorder, simply click here and you can browse through your past work. (This icon will only be visible only if you are logged into your account.)
Layering of objects – After clicking on a desired option you can choose one of these icons to rearrange the layering. Send it straight to the back or just send it "back one." The same functions exist for bringing an object to the front.
Alignment – you can align all your text boxes, shape, and images on your label. Click on the first object, hold down the Shift key and then click on any other objects that you want to align. After you have selected all of the desired objects, click on the aligning icons to move them.
Cut – You can take an image and move it somewhere else on your label by clicking on cut and paste
Copy – Need a duplicate of an object? Then just click the copy button and then paste to add another instance of the same object.
Paste – Click this after you have selected cut or copy to paste the object.
Zoom In – This will allow you to enlarge the view of your label.
Zoom Out – Just the opposite of Zoom In this will make your label appear smaller.
Reset – If you have zoomed in or out and would like to go back to the standard look then click this icon to reset the view of your label.
Fit to Screen – This will fit your label view to the designer screen’s edges.
Save Project – If you are logged into your account you can save your work and return at a later time to finish.
Start Over – If you decide that you need a different orientation of your label, click here and you will be taken back to your choices of labels.
Save & Purchase – All done with your design and ready to purchase? Then click here to go to your proof page and see what your finished look will be.
